Evan is a scientific founder with deep expertise in systems and synthetic biology. Before Harton, he was a principal inventor of spatial sequencing and the founding scientific leader at ReadCoor, where he transformed cutting-edge academic biotechnology into a widely adopted commercial platform. He trained in biology and mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, and earned a PhD in Systems, Synthetic, and Quantitative Biology at Harvard Medical School in the lab of George Church.
